Well Hello one and all! I know I have been the WORST at keeping up on my journal, but I have some good reasons. First I have been super busy at work. And I traveled to Tampa Florida in July ( I know HOT and HUMID) for a work convention. I did get to see my niece who lives in Tampa, she is now 18 and beginning college this fall. I have also been hard at work on a Print magazine the publishes Prose and Poetry. I am the Administrative Coordinator and we just pubished our 4th issue this Summer. I am going to Boston, Lowell actually in October for a Poetry Festival where many of us from the magazine will attend and promote our endeavor.

I am going on a vacation to New Mexico in a few weeks.... flying into Albuquerque and staying in Santa Fe... I plan to go horseback riding, hike in Bandolier National Park, see the Georgia O'Keefe Museum and try to get up early and watch a desert sunrise. Hopefully I will get some writing inspiration.

I am also hoping the White Sox are able to hold onto 1st place in the AL Central. I did go to a Cubs game last week and have tickets for a Sox game next Monday. Maybe Chicago will have a Cross-town World Series!!

Gosh! I know it has been such a long time since I posted here and I hope all of you haven't taken me off your friend's list. I have been super busy with work and I am working on a new endeavor, a Poetry Magazine. It is called Shakespeares Monkey Revue and I work organizing all the poetry submissions for publication and the Poetry Contest...not to mention sending out copies of our Second Issue to subscribers. The magazine is just getting started and there are about 6/7 of us that work on this. So we all have multiple jobs. Other than that I am planning alot of stuff this year..
Trips to Las Vegas, San Francisco and Hawaii. Oh and I will be going on my first Sky-Dive this Spring!!

How is everyone doing? Did anyone else see Karl's TV movie 'Commanche Moon'? I can't wait to see him in the new Star Trek as "Bones' McCoy!

Hi Everyone! First I apologize, I have been so remiss in posting my Journal. I have been very very busy the last month! My Mother's birthday, my mother-in-law's birthday, my sister's birthday, Mother's Day, Memorial Day weekend plans, my daughter's prom and Senior Finals and
Graduation, along with planning her Graduation party and all that entails... not to mention all the everyday stuff!!

I am going to my first White Sox game tomorrow which should be fun. I hope they Win!!!!! They hsve not been doing so great this year.

Then I have floors being redone (must rip up old carpet upstairs in bedrooms... have floors all sanded and finished. Get house tuckpointed...Get Michelle registered for college... and oh yes... go to England the end of July...Whew!!! So busy! But I promise to try and get in here and post...

Guess who is still alive and kickin' Yep it's me!! How is everyone doing? I have been busy at work and at home. My daughter is graduating High School this May. I plan to go to England this summer. Watching World Series... Decent Series, but not as exciting for me as last year!!

It has been forever since I posted here. MY baseball season is over... But my football season is looking GREAT this year ... another win today! GO BEARS!!! I got to actually speak with Ms.Amyurban on the phone! Great to finally hear your voice woman and glad you finally got the gift! *smile*

Yea!! Diane is coming home today! Cheer up Sar... I will visit next year!! HugS!!!!!

Hello everyone! I am back from my trip to NYC! Geeezzz the hassle at the airport... I was there early Thursday morning just in time to have everything confiscated because there was no real guidelines in place... by my return on Sat. evening things were calmed down... so even though I am mad about my expensive moisturizer... it is ok. I got to see Lisa!! HI LISA!!! We had a lovely dinner at an Italian Restaurant and some dessert and a delicious Pinot Noir with our families too. We did LOTS of shopping and got some good loot.
AND THE WHITE SOX ARE BACK BAYBEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!! I cannot wait for my next game in Sept. Sox vs. Detroit! And I have GREAT seats too! I bet my fave Konerko hits a HR! He has hit a homerun everygame I have been at this year.
Next up... business trip to Milwaukee Wisconsin next week (Eye rolling smiley goes here) BUT a pleasure trip to Phoenix, Arizona with some friends will take place in late September. So busy busy busy!! Love you all and Miss too!!
